    Horn pentru Offset 45cm 10.368GHz WR75

    Pentru noul transverter de 3cm bazat pe un modul CBNL, adica:

    Am ales o antena offset foarte usoara, din tabla de otel cu un diametru de de 45cm.
    Antena a venit din Bulgaria in cateva zile luata de la EMAG.

    Am aflat F/D util pentru a calcula un horn cu care voi ilumina tigaia.
    Illumination angle for feed = 68.4 degrees on the large axis and 67.3 degrees on the small axis.
    A feedhorn with a 3 dB beamwidth of 38.3 degrees is needed, equivalent to the feed for a conventional dish with f / D = 0.83
    Gain at 50 % efficiency = 30.2 dBi
    If you do really well, you might get 60 % efficiency for a gain = 31.0 dBi
    To design a feedhorn, use f/ D = 0.83 in Selection 'Rectangular Feed for Specified f/D
    Si folosind acelasi soft am obtinut:
    H-plane inside dimension: 19.05 mm
    E-plane inside dimension: 9.53 mm
    f/D to be illuminated: 0.83
    Estimated feedhorn dimensions:
    H aperture = 52.1086 mm
    E aperture = 37.7172 mm
    Axial length = 59.5756 mm

    Impreuna cu un fisier .PS pe care l-am printat fara corectii de marime si l-am suprapus peste foaia de Alama.
    Am decupat cu foarfeca pe contur, apoi folosind un patent cu falci plate am indoit cat mai precis.
    Dupa ce am verificat ca este in cote am cositorit laterala hornului.
    Apoi am planat fetele pe o bucata de hartie cu carbura (smirghel)

    Am rigidizat mecanic hornul pe flansa WR75 cu un calapod de lemn si un surub, calapodul de lemn infasurat in teflon la zona de contact cu peretii ghidului.
    Cu toate masurile din cauza caldurii lemnul s-a uscat si a fost destul de dificil sa readuc hornul in aliniament cu laturile ghidului.
    Ceva decalaj a amas dar aproape insesizabil asa ramane oricum.
    Ansamblul flansa horn l-am plasat pentru preincalzire pe talpa fierului de calcat setat pe la 250 grade, ori pe acolo cat sa preincalzeasca ansamblul si sa il pot cositori usor cu letconul de 60W
    Cositor normal, cu Plumb-Sn60Pb40
    La final dupa ce s-a racit am spalat cu acetona, apoi am pilit surplusul de aliaj.
    Hornul va fi montat pe antena impreuna cu trecerea de la coaxial la ghid, WR75 aratata aici:
